I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for contributing to a successful 2010.  We are proud to report that we grew over 50% in premium over 2009 and appreciate the support of you and your team.

As we continue our growth mission in 2011 and endeavor to become the best professional liability broker in the Mid-Atlantic Region, we recognize that we have many challenges on the horizon. To overcome these challenges, we have implemented several new service enhancements to provide you with the best possible service going forward.

  1. We have implemented a product expertise strategy in marketing your submissions.  This means that your contact within Apogee is an industry expert focused on the exposures of a specific class of business.  For example, all architect and engineer (A&E) submissions, will be handled by one individual in our company.  Our goal is to win more often for you and deliver the best possible quote, market and information regarding that specific class of risk.  Because of our expertise in Director’s and Officers Liability, Technology, Allied Healthcare, Employment Practices Liability, and Miscellaneous Errors and Omissions, you will be connecting with a greater assortment of people inside Apogee to help you place your business.
  1. We have implemented new updated sales tools to help you sell professional and management liability to your customers.  We understand that you may not see these coverage lines on a daily basis and we will do whatever it takes to help you through the process.  We are rolling out continuing education seminars, sales literature, policy form comparisons, and information that can help you overcome your prospects’ objections.
  1. We’ve added a new role to our sales and marketing team, the Retail Web Specialist.  These individuals are tasked with helping your team sell professional and management liability through our web quoting platform, phone quoting solution, website navigation, and overall processes that we offer to your team.  These individuals work in tandem with our Agency Representatives to better service our ongoing business development together. The success of this team is significant and we look forward to rolling this out to your team in the near future.
  1. We want you to know the entire Apogee family.  Insurance is a relationship business and knowing this, we feel that it is important that each member of our team builds a relationship with your organization.  If you ever call into the office seeking a specific individual who may be unavailable, please know that you will always have access to an Apogee team member eager to help by pressing “A” for assistance.  We have state-of-the art systems that can assist any member of our team in answering your questions.  We are there for you, when you need us.
  1. We’ve also relocated our offices to larger facilities.  Our phone numbers and emails will remain the same, but our address has changed to: 1190 Devon Park Drive, PO Box 6640, Wayne, PA 19087.
