As we celebrate the beginning of our 6th year in business, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the loyal customers who made Apogee a success. Your trust and confidence in us has surpassed our expectations. Without your support we would not have grown, thrived and succeeded. We are also pleased to announce that we are now licensed to write business in all 50 states.
In 2009, we are embarking on an exciting rejuvenated mission to enhance our building of relationships with our customers and to foster a long term approach for success in placing technology and professional liability risks.
In August of 2008, Apogee was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway and became part of their Gateway Consolidated Group. We were not acquired to be rolled in and absorbed, but rather to build, grow and succeed, with their substantial resources and impeccable reputation.
In the past few months, we have been rebuilding, training, hiring and revamping all of our administrative systems and processes to meet our growing needs for the future. We have developed and trained an Agency Sales and Service Team to help further serve our customers’ needs.
We have also released a new website - our High-Tech, High-Touch approach to meeting customers’ needs. Our website’s High-Tech features provide online quoting for many professional products and direct billing for admitted professional coverage at no extra charge to our agents. Our website’s High-Touch features will assist us in providing an ease of doing business even for the most complex risk through helpful links and sales aids for selling and presenting both professional liability and technology coverage.
