Managing Member - Thomas C. Katona
Founder of Apogee Insurance Group, a Professional Liability Specialty Broker, which writes EPLI, D&O, E&O and a specific practice assessing and writing complex Technology and secure data risks. Tom has 30 years experience as a CEO successfully building three Technology Philadelphia Top 100 companies and one Inc. Magazine Top 500 nationally ranked company. His last 15 years were spent in the insurance operations software consulting business doing strategic projects for customers like Insurance Commissioner Linda Kaiser for Pennsylvania Insurance Commission, IT Plan, Healthaxis, Brokerage Concepts, Reliance Insurance, Caliper One, Cigna P&C, and the Glatfelter Insurance Group. Board Member, Mid Atlantic PLUS Organization. Charter Member of Goodsports, local not for profit Charitable organization.

Partner - Robert M. McIntyre
has 30 years of senior level management experience in the communications, environmental , healthcare, insurance and technology industries. Successful and diverse business experience in mid-size and large corporate environments (Public and Private) as well as running small business (Philadelphia Top 100) to achieve full growth potential. He works tirelessly on behalf of the agents he works with to aggressively market risks on their behalf to obtain optimal professional liability coverage. His goals are to identify and place these coverages at the lowest cost available for the end-insured through our diverse list of quality insurance markets. He has a BA from Villanova University and has a Business Degree from University of Pennsylvania Wharton School Executive Management Program. He is also a Member of the Professional Liability National Organization (PLUS).

has 10 years of management and consulting experience in business development, operations, customer relations, technology, software engineering, insurance regulation research and training for national insurance carriers and service bureaus. You may cross paths with him at regional golf outings, on the sidewalks of West Chester, sitting for his RPLU, skiing in Vermont, or rooting for his Alma Mater University of Pittsburgh. His broad, deep and varied background enables him to provide unique in-depth support to broker clients with strategic planning opportunities in mining their books of business.

Account Executive - Chris Hoxie
has 3 years experience in one-on-one customer satisfaction in the retail and service industries. Chris works with his broker customers in building their commercial books by integrating all lines of Professional Liability including; E&O, EPLI, and D&O. His background and outgoing personality provides the best possible customer service in marketing accounts. He is also a graduate of Dickinson College in central Pennsylvania and a licensed P&C producer. When away from Apogee, Chris unwinds by catching up on Philadelphia sporting events, improving on his golf game, or playing his guitar. Chris' priority is to provide top-notch customer service to each of his customers.
