Thomas Katona is the founder of Apogee Insurance Group and has 25 years experience as a CEO, successfully building three Top 100 Philadelphia Technology companies and an Inc. Magazine Top 500 nationally ranked company.
Mr. Katona's last 15 years have been spent in the insurance operations software consulting business, managing strategic projects. Customers include Insurance Commissioner Linda Kaiser for Pennsylvania Insurance Commission IT Plan, Healthaxis, Brokerage Concepts, Reliance Insurance, Caliper One, Cigna P&C, and the Glatfelter Insurance Group, among others.
Mr. Katona is a Board Member of Mid Atlantic Professional Liability National Organization (PLUS) and a Charter Member of Goodsports, a local not for profit Charitable organization. He enjoys golfing, cycling, skiing and fishing.
